Canopy Growth (TSE:WEED) has released an update.
Canopy Growth Corporation has exercised its option to acquire Acreage Holdings, making Acreage a wholly-owned subsidiary upon closing, and has partially acquired Acreage’s outstanding debt. Canopy USA, under Canopy Growth, has completed the acquisition of Jetty and two Wana Brands entities, with the purchase of Mountain High Products pending regulatory approval. These steps are in line with Canopy Growth’s strategy to leverage its stakes in Canopy USA to drive growth and commercial synergies.
