Ameriwest Lithium ( (TSE:AWCM) ) has provided an update.
Ameriwest Critical Metals has advanced technical work at its Bornite copper-gold-silver project in Oregon, completing detailed re-logging of approximately 30 pallets of preserved historical core and finalizing a preliminary geologic model with APEX Geoscience. The company has selected core intervals from multiple historic drill holes for modern multi-element assays, including rare earths, and is now awaiting laboratory results.
The new assay data will be used to statistically validate the historic database and could support an initial NI 43-101-compliant mineral resource estimate, though no current resource is defined and further drilling may be required. Ameriwest also launched a formal Community and Stakeholder Engagement Program in June 2026, signaling an effort to build local support and transparency as it positions Bornite within the broader critical metals sector.
