Airtel Africa Advances Share Buy-Back Plan

Airtel Africa Plc (GB:AAF) has released an update.

Airtel Africa Plc has announced the purchase of 278,419 of its own ordinary shares on the London Stock Exchange as part of an ongoing share buy-back program that began on March 1, 2024. The shares were bought at prices ranging from 121.50 to 122.40 GBp per share, with the purpose of canceling them, and since the program’s start, the company has acquired over 17 million shares at an average price of 104.93 GBp. Airtel Africa is a major telecommunications and mobile money service provider in 14 African countries, offering a variety of services, aiming to enhance customer experience.
