Alphabet’s (NASDAQ:GOOGL) Google Renames Chatbot, Offers Subscription

Google has renamed its AI chatbot, Bard, to Gemini. It introduced a new subscription plan for its most advanced AI model.

Alphabet’s (NASDAQ:GOOGL) Google has rebranded its Artificial Intelligence (AI) chatbot. Moreover, the technology giant introduced a new subscription plan, granting users access to its top-tier AI model. 

Google’s chatbot, formerly known as Bard, has been named Gemini. Further, the company introduced Gemini Advanced, which gives users access to its Ultra 1.0, Google’s most advanced AI model. Additionally, the company rolled out a new app for Gemini and Gemini Advanced for Android and iOS users.

Google highlighted that Gemini Advanced has superior proficiency in highly complex tasks such as logical reasoning, coding, collaborating on creative projects, and following nuanced instructions. The new subscription plan is part of Google’s efforts to keep pace with the escalating competition in the AI domain.

Is Alphabet Stock a Buy, Sell, or Hold?

Alphabet stock has gained over 53.5% in one year. Despite the significant increase in its value, Wall Street analysts are bullish about its prospects. 

GOOGL stock has 29 Buy and eight Hold recommendations for a Strong Buy consensus rating. Analysts’ average price target of $164.14 implies 12.49% upside potential from current levels.
