Quantum computing stocks remain on analysts’ radar as investors look for growth in advanced computing. Based on TipRanks data, D-Wave Quantum (QBTS), Quantinuum (QNT), and Rigetti Computing (RGTI) each have over 150% upside potential based on average analyst price targets. QBTS and QNT have Strong Buy consensus ratings, while RGTI has a Moderate Buy rating. These forecasts point to high expectations for the sector, though the stocks also carry significant risk.

D-Wave Quantum (QBTS)

D-Wave Quantum builds quantum computers for businesses and research teams. It is moving beyond quantum annealing to develop gate-model systems, giving customers more ways to test quantum computing.

In October, D-Wave opened its gate-model simulator to select customers and extended its work with SkyWater Technology. It also secured a U.S. Department of Commerce deal worth up to $100 million for quantum research. On October 15, D-Wave delivered Italy’s first annealing quantum computer. These steps could help D-Wave win more customers and bring its systems into wider use.

Overall, QBTS carries a Strong Buy consensus rating on TipRanks. The average D-Wave Quantum analyst price target of $35.79 suggests about 207.7% upside from current levels.

Quantinuum (QNT)

Quantinuum builds quantum computers and software for businesses and researchers. Its Helios system uses trapped-ion technology, and the company is working toward more reliable quantum systems.

In October, Quantinuum said Helios reached 99.9995% logical fidelity, with just five errors per million operations. This marks a major step toward building quantum computers that can handle more complex tasks. The company also secured up to $100 million in U.S. government funding to advance quantum chip manufacturing.

Morgan Stanley recently named Quantinuum its “top quantum play,” citing its tech progress and execution. The firm raised its rating to Overweight but cut its price target to $62 from $78.

Overall, Wall Street has a Strong Buy consensus rating on QNT stock. The average Quantinuum analyst price target of $93.36 implies 160.07% upside from current levels.

Rigetti Computing (RGTI)

Rigetti Computing builds quantum computers that use superconducting qubits. It aims to link these systems with regular computers so users can solve tasks with both types of hardware.

In September, Rigetti secured a U.S. Department of Commerce award worth up to $100 million. The funds will support work on faster, larger quantum systems and help tackle tech limits that make them hard to scale. Rigetti is also working with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center on hybrid quantum-classical computing. These projects could help bring its systems into wider use.

RGTI stock has an analyst consensus of Moderate Buy and carries an average price target of $29.50, indicating a 156.97% upside potential.
