 Can I edit or delete my comments?

Yes. To edit, simply click on the three dots to the right of your comment and select “Edit.” Make the changes to your post and click update. Your edited comment will now appear.

You can delete your own comment at any time by clicking on the three dots and selecting delete.

How do I flag an abusive comment?

We welcome your help in ensuring that the conversations in our community are valuable and enjoyable. One way to do this is by flagging inappropriate comments.

If you see a comment that you believe does not meet our guidelines, please flag it so our moderators can review it.

Simply click on the three dots to the right of the comment and select “Report” to flag a comment.

Can I share comments outside of the community?

Yes. One of the great features our community platform offers is the ability to share comments on Facebook, Twitter, or via email. To share a comment, press the three dots to the right of the comment and select “Share.”

Please note: We will never post to Facebook or Twitter without your permission.

Can I be notified when someone responds to my comment? 

Yes. By default, you will receive an email when:

  1. You are @mentioned in a comment
  2. People like your comment/s
  3. Someone replies to your commentThis enables you to easily follow a conversation after you’ve left the page. You can change this in the notification settings.

 How do I manage my notification settings?

You can access your settings from two different places

  1. On the settings icon on the top right-hand side of the comments
  2. On the settings icon, when you click on your name in your profile

Scroll down in settings to select when you want to receive email notifications.

Where can I find my commenting history?

Click on your name in the community, and then your profile will appear, including all your comments.

You can also view other people’s histories by clicking on their usernames as well.

If you prefer to hide your comment history from others, in your profile click on the arrow next to your name, click privacy, and switch your privacy profile on.

Additionally, in your comment you can click on the icon next to your name to reach your profile, or on the settings icon

How do I delete a comment? 

You can easily delete your own comment from a thread in real-time.

Simply go to your comment, click on the three dots in the right corner and select “Delete” from the menu. You can also edit your comments by selecting “Edit” from the same menu.

Can I add pictures to the community?

Yes. One way to add images is to upload. Select the camera icon in the comment box, and you will then be permitted to upload an image.

We even have a GIF library! Select the “GIF” icon to pick from a range of animated images.

Can I add a link to an external website in a comment? 

  • Yes. Simply insert the URL into the comment box, and it will automatically hyperlink.

Can I change the order that comments are displayed?

Yes. You can find a dropdown with sorting options at the top of the conversation thread.

You can sort the conversations by “Newest” or “Oldest” or “Best” (most liked) with just a click of the mouse.

Note, the latest comments are displayed by default.

I’ve been blocked from commenting. What do I do?

If you don’t follow the Commenting Guidelines, you are at risk of being blocked. If you believe that you’ve been mistakenly blocked, please email us at support@tipranks.comto address the situation.
