RLI Corp. reports Q4 EPS $1.54, consensus $1.49

Reports Q4 revenue $433.5M, consensus $357.6M. “Continued premium growth across all product segments drove RLI‘s strong fourth quarter performance and supported our 28th consecutive year of underwriting profit,” said RLI Corp. CEO Craig Kliethermes. “Gross premiums written grew 13% in the quarter and we achieved an 83 combined ratio. Underwriting and investment income were solid contributors to quarterly operating earnings of $1.54 per share and book value growth of 31% from year-end 2022.
