Baird raised the firm’s price target on Astec to $40 from $37 and keeps a Neutral rating on the shares. The firm said that the company’s Q4 results were a “relief” following a “disappointing” Q3. Baird remains concerned with sizable backlog erosion, although 2024 orders likely rebound somewhat from depressed 2023 levels.
