XORTX Therapeutics Inc., a pharmaceutical company specializing in kidney disease treatments, has successfully completed a second tranche closing, raising CAD $224,850, contributing to a total of CAD $2.7 million from its latest securities offering. The funds, raised through the issuance of common share units with accompanying warrants, are earmarked for general corporate and working capital needs. The offering, part of a larger strategy allowing for up to CAD $50 million in securities issuances, has concluded under the Company’s short form base shelf prospectus.
