Golden Minerals Company has halted operations at its Velardeña Properties in Durango State, Mexico, due to disappointing initial production results since restarting in December 2023. The company is exploring options for the future of the properties, which may involve selling them or shutting down certain operations in Mexico. Golden Minerals remains focused on developing its other mining interests in Mexico, Nevada, and Argentina.
